For young people aged 14 - 18 years.
Meetings: Friday evenings during school terms.
What can Venturers do for you?
As a venturer you could:
- go abseiling
- go canoeing in the rapids
- earn your pilot's licence
- go skiing
- go camping even above the snowline
- travel
- go scuba diving
- and many other activities too long to list
The Venturers themselves design their own programs to suit their own needs. Most of the exciting activities available to Venturers can be used to gain their award badges.
The ultimate Venturer award is the Queen's Scout Award. Employers can look favourably on young people who have gained their Queen's Scout Award because they have demonstrated their ability to achieve a goal.
