For young adults aged 18 to 24 years.
Youth within this section belong to a Rover Crew. Each Rover Crew is run by the Rovers within the Crew.
Every Rover Crew is different in the activities they organise, and those that they are involved in. This is dependent on the requirements and interests of the crew members. It may be as easy as a cooking night, or as involved as a four-wheel drive expedition through the High country. Crews undertake activities such as bush-walking, sailing, caving, driving, scuba diving, balls and bush dances, motorsport, environmental service to the community or even giving blood as part of the Blood bank challenge.
Rovers have the opportunity to participate in a badge scheme which focuses on the four areas of Physical, Service, Personal Growth and Community Development.
Rovers have many opportunities for adventure both nationally and internationally. One such event is the world Moot, where Rovers from all over the world come together. More information on Moots can be found on the Moot site here, Moot.
Rover crew members make friends for life.
Rovers at 1st Mount Evelyn are currently in remission. Please contact the group leader with enquiries.
